1. Eating disorders - Continually eating unhealthy can result increase your chances of an eating disorder. This can be the case for both eating too much or eating too little.
 

2. Muscle Loss - Unhealthy dieting practices that don't incorporate enough protein can lead to unwanted muscle loss. Your body needs protein to build and repair tissues, and carry out a large number of processes. When you don't consume enough protein in your diet, your body will consume its own muscle mass.

You can usually get all your vitamins from the foods you eat. As a result you don't need to take additional vitamins or minerals unless you have a disorder that causes your body to have low amounts of that mineral or vitamin.
