Skeletal – provides shape; supports and protects organs

Reproductive – Makes sure that humans don’t die out as a species

Excretory – eliminates waste products in the body -> sweat glands, liver, kidney, lungs

Lymphatic – defends the body against infections

Digestive – turns food into NRG and eliminates waste

Circulatory – moves blood -> oxygen from the lungs to the body 

Endocrine – secretes / regulates hormones in the body

Nervous – “electrical wiring of the body” sensory neurons and communicates between spinal cord, brain, and peripheries

Muscular - creates movement

Respiratory – takes in O2, expels CO2
