Muscles Working Together
HOW DOES OUR BODY MOVE
Agonist (Prime Mover) - The main muscle responsible for a movement. This muscle will contract the most to create the movement
Antagonist - Is the main muscle that works opposite of the agonist muscle. This muscle is relaxed during the movement and allows for the speed of the movement to be controlled.

RANGE OF MOTION
Range of Motion- Distance and direction a joint can move to its full potential
Passive Range of Motion - Distance and direction a joint can be moved to its full potential by an external force (not moved by our own muscles)
Active Range of Motion - Distance and direction a joint can be moved to its full potential by an internal force (moved by our own muscles)
